Solarize NE Workshops & Registration
The Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods is proud to announce a second round of Solarize Northeast, a community driven project to simplify solar electric installation for North & Northeast Portland residents.
Interested neighbors enjoy savings through a community-driven bulk purchase of solar panels. Solarize Northeast hosts workshops to educate residents about solar options, site assessment, installation, and financing options.
Registration will give you the opportunity for a free home site-assessment for solar electric panels and solar water-heating. Home weatherization and energy-efficiency options are also available. Solarize NE is hosting workshops that will cover the technical basics of going solar in Portland as well as financial questions, such as leasing or purchasing solar panels, and how to take advantage of financial incentives.
