Introductions 

Minutes: No March minutes to approve. Meeting cancelled due to COVID-19.

Treasurer report: 

$2038.96 checking account; $1000.00 savings account.  Bottle drop $53.35

$20 CT-12 Oregon Charities filed with Department of Justice HNA annual filing fee submitted to Portland on 03/07/20 by Kymberly

Land Use: John Ollis reports on Patton House creating commercial kitchen

PCC Abe Proctor: PCC has a food pantry that donates over 8,000lbs of food/mo to students! Radiofree Cascade station.

HNA neighborhood clean up & Friends & Family Night @ McMenamins: Both Cancelled due to COVID-19 Pandemic unfortunately. 

Humboldt NET (Neighborhood Emergency Team), HNA still continues to look for a secure place within Humboldt for designated Humboldt neighborhood BEECN NET NRT cache within 5 blocks proximity to JHS.  

NECN Report: NECN continues zoom meetings reporting on citywide COVID resources and newspaper distribution

Ongoing:

The Humboldt Neighborhood Association is here for all residents/neighbors in need of resource information and is diligently working alongside the Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods and the city of Portland to obtain the most up to date information for all residents of Humboldt.   Please follow the HNA FB page if possible to receive the latest info.  Currently, there are at least 3 food pantry’s within Humboldt along with other community resources.  JHS Food Pantry is Tuesday’s and Fridays 1-3pm, Boise Eliot Humboldt Elementary School has a pantry for student’s and families, as well as PCC Cascade.  Kymberly has been posting to HNA FB page with WHO & CDC news releases along with Portland city info. useful for community members.  The PPB Sunshine Division is also supplying free food boxes for families in need.

KOZ Developers on N. Killingsworth continues with construction during COVID-19

Upcoming Events/Meetings

HNA May meeting will be a zoom meeting for all residents and business owners of Humboldt that would like to join, have news, or desire to express their concern regarding current events.  Welcoming any helpful information to aid in resources for all affected.
